Interesting thread developing on DoDo Red Mist QD product.
Dodo Juice Red Mist = Dust Magnet - Detailing World (http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=107246)
Does anyone in the US have this solution yet? Daniel?
I get dust with any QD I apply too heavily.

how do you apply a QD too heavy?
could it just be a static charge from rubbing

By applying too much, too frequently, leaving the surface an oily mess.

 OK sorry never had that problem
so you have to rub more to get it off
and you are making a larger static charge......could be

No excessive rubbing, just rare and occasional over-application of a QD. I can see it smearing around under halogen lighting. I just remove it with IPA and move on.

Has DoDo not taken off in the US yet?
I don`t read that much about it here and have not one client ask for it.

Personally, I dont buy into the whole "anti-static` claim anyway..............Rub plastic enough on a dry So Cal day, and you`ll create some static.............Fk is not the only maker of "antistatic" detail sprays either.....

Many synthetic detailers claim to be anti-static. The detailer itself may be anti-static but that doesn`t mean that the MF towel is. Remember the MF towel is just soft, fuzzy plastic.

Is it worth it to investigate the static discharge through attaching the car to jumper cables and a ground?
Sounds like snake oil, but could be valid.

Um, well, the car is already grounded. I don`t see the benefit.
Moreover, if you touch the panel with your hand, you have successfully grounded the panel (unless you are capable of hovering and walking on water).
Where is it that you planned to put the cables?

What, I don`t know about you but my car has tires
and they stop the car from being grounded

and see what it looks like in a few months....it proved it to me!
