501 is the Marine / RV polish and the 521 is the Marine / RV detail spray.

Just wondering how they worked out for you. I put 501 on my clearcoated factory wheels and could not believe the look , super shiny , bright and extremely slick . I drove out in the snow and salt and water yesterday and when I got home I could not believe the wheels where barely even showing anything . Extremely impressive !!

I wondered if anyone uses this combo on their paint and what your thoughts are .

Lots of people use the 501, as it is a great paint cleaner that is pretty durable on it`s own, but also makes a great base for 105, etc.

521 is a juiced up version of FC&S that is also used by a lot of members.

Ive used 501, and its now my go to cleaner wax. I did my wifes van with it in the end of October and it still beading . It not only cleanes very good , it last a long time for a cleaner wax/sealant.

I just bought the 501 and plan on using it soon as a cleaner after polish but before LSP. I will be putting z2Pro on top of it.

I have a white 550i and heard this cleans white really well.

Try mixing 105 with AW to clean your wheels. With 501 as a base using this combo will just flush any dirt and brake dust away. I don`t even scrub anymore, just wipe with an old mf.

+1. For maintenance I have a spray bottle of 521/AW mix. A little spritz, wipe off with an old mf and brake dust is no problemo.

I will be doing this in the next week.

I will be doing this procedure:

Menz SIP w/orange pad

Zaino PC w/ white pad

DG 501 with black pad

Z2Pro by hand (with ZFX) x2

then collapse.

Haven`t tried 521, but 501 is great!

I use it on windows, paint and wheels (including my polished billet CCWs)

I use 501 a lot. It is a great paint cleaner, has great durability and protection, also use it on wheels and other metal items on the car after I polish them.

I can remember when I first posted on the Marine products I was using...and had a few say they are for boats..lol...now it looks like they caught on and now you see the results...501 is a gem....

I guess the old saying holds true..Don`t knock it till you try it....
