Hey guys im detailing a car right now and using a pc and 4" white pads and menxerna p203s as a one step. After every pass of p203s it leaves the paint looking really hazy and the polish is almost impossible to wipe off. I tried using less polish or applying more or less pressure but its still the same. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone...?

The pad is now leaving white circles of dust I guess wherever it goes... Getting really frustrated...

A couple of thoughts for you. Working the polish too long? Especially given that you`re getting the dusting (which Menz polishes are prone to doing anyway) and your pad(s) may need to be cleaned and/or changed. Are you using the same pad for the whole car?

I suggest you don`t buff when your frustrated.

You will burn something caused by frustration trying to get haze/scratches off...

Take a break, and get back to it. But like cruiser said, clean your pads etc..

You are only cutting right now?

Ive used fresh pads and tried working the polish anywhere from 1-5 minutes. I have a deadline so I cant really take a break. Its a porter cable and im using p203s as one step so I dont think ill burn anything. Should I just continue on and then just rewash the car afterwards?

Sounds to me like you may have to clean your pad a bit more or change it.

I tried using about half a pea sized to about twice a pea size.

Tried about 3 different fresh pads (brand new)

Its doing this with all of my polishes 106fa, sip and p203s. First time ive had this problem...
