First of I would like to say that I have used rotary one time before I started reading in a couple of forums and now with knowledge I want to buy my own buffer. I have a lot of supplies the only thing i`m missing is the buffer.

I really like the flex because of the correction possibilities, ease of use and safety with burning through paint. can I achieve the same level of correction with the pc7424. I am going to use this to do my own car along with friends cars and maybe a few details here and there.

I read some of the problems with the flex and now i am wondering if it`s worth buying it, but I don`t know how much correction I can achieve with the PC and how time consuming it would be as compared to the flex. money is not too much of an issue as far as buying the flex, the only thing is that i would hate to be dealing with exchanges and having the flex breakin down after warranty expires (how many years is warranty).

can you guys share your experiences with both the flex and PC.

also should I just buy a rotary being a newbie???
