View Full Version : Finally got my meguiars g110!!!

well i finally got it in the mail from Auto Detailing Solutions. got here on thursday. went down in the garage tonight used for about 20 min AND it just stops working. worked fine then when i was applying wax with it it just started getting slower and slower till it stopped and now it wont even turn on. and now i have to wait till monday to deal with this because there closed till monday. anyone else have any problems with this?

Yes, I had this problem. I had to return mine and get it exchanged. This problem was supposed to have been corrected in the latest shipments of the G110. Fortunately, Meguiar`s Customer Service is excellent; but it`s still a huge PIA.

First one I got died halfway through the second time I used it. The replacement seems to work fine. My local Meguiars distributor said they`ve had a lot of returns.

I had the exact same problem with my G110 after 3 uses. Took a couple of weeks to get my replacement. Luckily I still had my trusty G100 as a backup. So far the new G110 is holding up after a few uses.

I just bought one last week and have used it twice and no problems as of yet. I will keep you updated.

I used mine for about 8 months with no issues until just recently. It slowed down and there was a burning smell to it as well until it stopped. Luckily I had my PC 7424 with me.

thats what happened to mine. it smelled funy too from the first time i turned it on,but i just figured that it was new. guess not o well meguiar`s said to send it back to them and the will send me a new one. so we will se how long that will take to get a new one sent to me.

I got a new model G220 here in Australia, no probs here.

Apparently the old model had problems.

just ordered mine...keeping fingers crossed it doesn`t have issues. but i guess that is what warranties are for.
