how to get wheel wax off caliper

some wheel wax seems to have baked onto my caliper i guess. if i try and wipe it off, the moisture kind of covers it up and you cant see it any longer. but once it dries you can still see the wax.

APC, a dedicated wheel cleaner, an AIO should take care of it in short order.

Your brake caliper is probably cast aluminum and the wax might of actually oxidized it / stained it. You might be best off to just paint them with a caliper paint.
