View Full Version : Glass Fog lights - Is it possible to restore?

my headlights are plastic and unfortunately Nissan decided to only make glass fog lights for 4th gen Maxima`s....its a shame because the OEM fogs look dead sexy on the car.



Any tips? I`ve tried Mothers, Brasso, etc...but im not down to wet sand GLASS. :(

It`s hard to polish glass... As far as I know the easiest way is to polish using Cerium oxide. (but for best results you would need to wet sand it before).

so its "okay" to wet sand? just like plastic lenses?

I don`t know if it`s "OK", but I`ve seen somewhere on the net someone wetsanded and polished.
