I`m currently sealing my wheels with Duragloss 601 & 111 and am not sure if either Sonus rim bright or P21s wheel cleaner (gel) will strip this off?

Also should I use Klasse AIO or Duragloss pre-cleaner 2 prior to applying 601 & 111 or would this not make any difference?

My wheels are standard factory fit silver painted alloys.

I would think ANY wheel cleaner would remove the LSP

IMO the main reason to seal the wheel is so you can just use you standard car wash to clean them

If the wheels are in need of it use an AIO before the sealant.

BigJims right once the wheels are sealed car shampoo should clean them up no bother, if not use a diluted cleaner.

^^^ nope

but the clear on the wheels is no where as thick as on the paint

just heard to many bad stories with prducts on Volk wheels

so you think its a good idea to put some jetseal on the wheels ?

Just bang on some Opti Seal or UPGP, there`re quick and last better than most

Yeah, diluted wheel cleaner (IME) can be more potent than shampoo mixes but won`t strip the LSP quite as quickly as full-strength wheel cleaner. But I really never need to use anything harsher than sorta-strong shampoo mix (even on the German cars with oe pads).

OTOH, I believe it`s Tom P who decided that shampooing sealed wheels just didn`t work as well for him as using regular wheel cleaner on unsealed wheels. I don`t think there`s a right/wrong answer to this, just different approaches for different people in different situations.

And yeah, I`d be a little careful about what I used on anodized wheels too...not as forgiving a situation as with painted ones (I had anodized HREs on my Mallett `vette).
