View Full Version : Why no picture Or signature ??

I am a Newbee, And introduced my self yesterday.

To day I tried to edit my signature & add a picture file in the right hand column under my name.

From what I see the new details uploaded to autopia, they do not show up.



What did I do wrong ??

not having images in the signature is one of the things I like about this site.



I spend a lot of time on gaming and computer forums as well, and I hate all the huge animated signature`s, it makes it hard to read a thread a lot of the time.

2X not my thing

it`s like you have to scroll thought twice as crap

and see the same pic thousands of times for no reason

Ditto, can`t stand those sites...besides, that`s just an ego fest.

I prefer it w/o signature pics. It`s so much cleaner using just avatars. I can`t imagine going backward.

Perhaps I expalined myself wrong.

I want to have a picture under my name in the right hand column.

How do I do that

2 quick things:



1.) it`s an avatar and it can be found under the User CP link at the top of the thread



2) that column with you user name is on the left;)

Now I got it



Now I wait for spring, :closed: (60 -90 days) so I can start to work on my car, my favorite hobby I live in the North country without garage. Today it is -25 celicus:scared:

+100000. I like the way Autopia looks just as it is. Having pictures in signatures just makes a site look cheap, IMO.

No pic is best IMO. Make the best use of your avatar - something that a lot of forums do not allow you to change without paying.
