Well here is the 2nd truck in the family...same issues - holograms, heavy swirling, lots of deeper scratches, and slight oxidation. This on made for a fun day, about 7 hours again from start to finish. This one got me ANOTHER....no not black F150, but a white VW that is just hammered. She wants to sell it, so I get to detail it before that happens.

Anyway, same products as last time too, SIP and poliseal. I tried out some megs PRC, but it takes a little longer than poliseal to break down, and I was running out of day light, so I opted for poliseal again. Only thing left in the paint were the deeper scratches as this was just another two step, and not a full correction!

Definitely night and day! How did you find the clear on this truck, as far as hardness goes?

pretty soft clear on ford blacks...not honda or bmw black soft, but a touch harder.

I believe he used Meg`s Trim Detailer.

yes I did. I applied it to all the trim all over the truck, then went back around and buffed the excess off so that it wasnt as greasy. Then once it dries it stays that way for about 3-4 weeks without streaking
