ive looked everywhere and cant find an answer, so ill ask my question here and hope someone helps me out... i just got some klasse all in one, klasse sealant glaze, and collinite 476 .. i was wondering, after i use the AIO and then sealant, can i use the collinite right after? i know im supposed to wait a day in between coats of the sealant, but can i apply the collinite over my one coat of sealant immediatley or not? id really appreciate any input, tomorrow is supposed to be almost 50 degrees , so im going to do this tomorrow. thanks

IMO KSG is best after several coats(3+) 12 hrs between them

So you might want to skip the SG this time and do AIO then 476x2

You should let it cure for 12 hours before you top it with anything, another coat or a wax.

jDizzle-I know this isn`t what you`re asking, or what you want to hear, but (noting that I use KSG on one dog-hauler and 476S on the other) I`d really, *REALLY* recommend that you just layer on more KSG instead of topping it with the Collinite. Then you can just add *more* KSG later.

I just don`t get the point in using both KSG and 476S at the same time :nixweiss I don`t see a single reason to do it, but maybe I`m just not thinking right

He`s probably thinking the durability will come from the SG and the wax type shine will come from the 476S.

SG will shine enough for me with a proper polish and I like to layer the stuff so I tend to stay away from wax in between layers.

Yeah, I suppose so, but KSG never seems more durable than 476S anyhow unless it`s heavily layered, and if I were gonna preclude adding more KSG I`d want a more impressive "wax-effect" than I get from 476S. Eh...to each their own :nixweiss

I think you should consider buying some Megs #26 wax and applying a couple of coats for the following reasons:

1. The worst of winter will be over in the next 6 weeks. Two coats of Megs #26 should provide decent protection until then.

2. Around mid-March, the temps should be high enough so you can allow proper cure times for KSG or Collinite. I`m guessing you live in the mid-Atlantic area like me? I schedule a full detail for early April.

3. I`m not sure if you have clayed/polished your paint, but it`s best to have time to analyze the condition of your paint.

Keep us informed on how your work progresses!

i clayed my car a couple months ago.. and today i used the Klasse AIO, then skipped the SG and just used the 476. it looks really good.. and collinite isnt as hard to use as everyone says. unless u put it on thick.. then just give a shot of detail spray.. im going to try to post some pics up here if i can figure out how.. thank for all the help :-) its much appreciated.

That sounds like a sensible approach :xyxthumbs I`ll be interested to hear how you end up liking the 476S as compared to the KSG you had on there previously.
