Chips on Painted Rims

I have silver painted rims on my 2006 pontiac car. When I cleaned them I noticed some stone chips on them. I was going to try and apply some touch up to the bigger more noticeable ones.

Would this be a good idea or will I likely make them look worse?

Where could I get silver paint that would match up or be close?
