View Full Version : Can M105 be used on non-automotive glass?

That is, a glass dining table or glass windows? I have the new M105 and M205 and M21...

Would those be advisable on the table?

And what about something like glasses lenses? Or Ipods?

glass is very hard and IMO you need something much stronger then a paint coumpound to remove defects in glass



if you are SURE the glass does not have a coating on it

and you can support the glass(you will have to lean on it a good bit)

you could try it



they may CLEAN the glass



I would think an IPOD would have a plastic lens and only require a mild polish like

plastix(you could try 205 if you want)

Yeah, I doubt 105 or any other car polish is gonna hurt glass. It takes really tough abrasives like cerium oxide to have any real abrasive effect on glass. Car polishes do make great glass *cleaners*, though.



And as BigJim mentioned, plastix does work great on ipods.
