I am looking for a CLEAR bucket. I know there are many transparent buckets available at Home Depot and Lowe`s with measuring marks on them. What I truly need is a CLEAR bucket.

I have contacted USPlastics, among others without any success.

Please post or PM whatever leads you have.

Size would be 20L/5Gal

Thanks for the help

Simple google search of "clear wash bucket" turned up this:

Shipping would be rough from Great Britain, though...LOL! I got mine at Lowe`s int the painting section. They come in 3.5 and 5 gallons, GG fits in either, transparent with marks at .5 gal intervals. Cost was about $5. Get your GG from US Plastics, but order over $25 bucks or shipping is rediculous from them.

now you know exactly what I want. problem is, I really don`t want to pay for a bucket to take a ride from the US to the UK, and back to the US.(assuming it`s made in the US)

I bought the translucent bucket they had at LOWES for $6/ea. Has nice and easy to read measuring marks which make mixing products easy and the handle has a nice soft foam sleeve to keep your hand from getting abused. It isn`t perfectly clear but I can see what I`m mixing very easily. As mentioned before, they were stored in the paint aisle, near all the other buckets.

Why do you want a perfectly clear wash bucket?

I read your other thread over at DB :nana:

Thats the best I can find for now unless you consider the Zaino bucket. Personally I use the Home Depot ones that are semi-clear but obviously thats not what you are looking for either.

Does anyone know if the 5 gallon transparent bucket from Lowe`s will accept the Gamma Seal lids?

Home Depot>Paint Dept>$6.74

I stacked some small boxes inside the bucket so you can gage translucency:
