hi guys i`m a new member, but i`ve been lurking for a while.
so i decide to do a little turn around for my daily driver, which is a 93 lexus es300. as i was going around my checking for flaws in the finish, i noticed this. i took a little bit of 06060 and worked the area by hand thinking its just oxidation, but no luck.
i then did a quick search on the lexus black paints and found out that black and red lexus vehicles do not come with clearcoat, but also found that some people DID have clearcoated on their black/red cars.
does anyone think it would be worthwhile for me to wet sand the area (i was hesistant because i didnt want to compromise the clearcoat further [if it existed]).
