I`ve searched some older threads on here and it seems white vinegar is the way to go. There`s some left on the bottom of the chrome running boards and on the rocker panels. Have to get on ground to really see it.

The concrete has on there for awhile, 1 year at least?? My only question is, should I use a sponge to soak the concrete or would a spray bottle work better? I`ll try a 1:1 ratio of vinegar/water and then go straight if that doesn`t cut it.

I should note too, I cannot afford a mistake with my truck. Just want to do the best I can for it. Thanks!

I would bet that the vinegar would require some dwell time

so I would soak a rag and hold it there for a wile and see if it helps

(on the running board maybe you could tie a rag on saturated with vinegar)

NOTE: these are just some thoughts I have not actuall tried this

F.Y.I. I am sure in your searching you found out that TOL sell a product for this

that people say works well also.. that is what I would try

Cool thanks BigJim! I`ve seen a few posts about the TOL concrete remover. Looks like good stuff. I`ll try the vinegar first. I have about 1/2 gallon of it so I`ll play it.

On a personal note, take care of that 81 Z28! haven`t seen those in years around my neck of the woods.
