I am looking to purchase a electric buffer that will allow me to remove swirls and imperfections in the paint. Also, something that will making applying wax and polish easier and more effective. I am not a professional detailer (obviously), i am just looking for a reliable buffer (if that is the right terminology) that i don`t have to worry about. Since i am no professional, i am looking for something that is user friendly.

I have been told that Griots buffer is good for the price. Is this true?

Is there a better option for less money?

Thanks for the insight.

How about Porter Cable? You can get it for less than $100 if you buy from eBay.

don`t get the Griots, invest in a PC. this sounds like exactly what you`re looking for...

$109 + $6.50 (shipping) = $115.50 to your doorstep...

+1 on the PC or even the UDM for more power. Either will keep you happy.

The PC 7424 is your best bet for price and reliability, but the Meguiars G110 is just slightly better but almost $50 more.
