4 Inch Polisher Pads?

Are the 4 Inch pads that are used via a dual-action polishers like the Porter Cable 7424 intended to be used to apply product to the entire vehicle or just for concentrating on small spots?



I like using my Porter Cable, but don`t really like to apply product using the larger pads.

You can use the 4" pads to polish the whole car or use the 5.5" pads.
