for mobile guys or guys with shops can answer too if you want, how many gallons of water do you think you use for one car just washing, carpet cleaning, etc everything that uses water.....I want to buy a water tank , and obviously one that is large enough for full size trucks rams, big diesel trucks

I think the quantity of water you use will depend greatly on what you`re detailing. Some vehicles may be larger than others.

Maybe in this instance you should go with a larger capacity tank. It`ll be best to have extra water at the end of the detail, than not enough midway through it.

Hope this helps... have a good day.

I use 2 gallons of water per car for the wash with ONR, and maybe 1/4 of a gallon or less from the steam cleaner.

2 weeks ago I sold my 100 gallon water tank and bought a gallon of ONR. Ive done about 10 cars since then with the ONR and I have no plan on looking back. 2 gallons to ONR wash or 15-20 gallons, you tell me?

Just get a 6 and a half gallon water jug from Lowes and a bottle of ONR and you`ll be set! Its much cheaper that way too.

How are you guys doing a wash with only 2 gallons? I mean, that basically guarantees no two bucket method, and also guarantees a very small amount of water for the trapped dirt/junk to be dumped into, further compounding the risk of having a contaminated sponge/wash mitt.

Right? Or am I missing something?

If I do an ONR wash I use about 3-3.5 gallons in the ONR bucket, and 3.5 gallons in the rinse bucket, both with a grit guard of course. AM I the only one? lol....
