FINALLY.....

the weather and my schedule came together to let me get the car clean and try some FK1 Pink Wax over the FK1000 I put on a few weeks ago :getdown

I have to say I am quite impressed with this stuff. Not quite as easy to use as the FK1000, as it doesnt spread quite as well by hand, but I did 2 layers, first by hand with a foam pad, then by rotary on a small finishing pad. Both times it was easy to get a very thin layer, and i left it 30mins before the easiest buff off. I was also very pleasantly surprised by the FK118SC shampoo as well. I have read here a few times that people didnt rate it, yet it gave some good suds, cleaned very well and rinsed easily to leave a great finish - what more do you want ;)

I think it added a little extra wetness over the FK1000, and I`ll see if/how the look develops over the next few days... PW over FK1000 seems a bargain killer combo :2thumbs:

What do you think?

Looks nice. :)

I also agree about the shampoo, from what I remember it was slick and had good suds/cleaning. I would have ordered more, but I can get Duragloss OTC plus cheaper, so...

As long as you keep it off of black trim and don`t put it on to thick, it is a fairly easy to use wax that looks really good on metalic an light colors.
