Which 0ne collinite 915 or 476

Allright which one will give better durability. To me 915 gives better durability and looks. That is just me I was wondering what your thoughts are. I like 845 followed by 915.

I don`t think that many people have tried 915 as it is not avaliable at harbor freight. 476s is the most durable wax i have used, but it seems that 915 would be even tougher. I would like to hear what the word is on 915.

I`ve never used the 915 as the guys at Collinite talked me out of it. Heh heh, I might never end up trying it as I probably have enough pre-VOC 476S to last the rest of my life.



But it`s good to see I`m not the only person who likes to use 845 as a base for their paste waxes.

I have used 915, 845 & 476s. They are all excellent winter waxes which are hard to beat in terms of durability. However, if I had to rate them in terms of ease of use from an application & buffing standpoint, my rating would as follows:



1. 845

2. 915

3. 476



845 being the easiest to apply & buff off, 915 is 2nd & 3rd is 476s.

In terms of deep shine & glow, I rate 915 on top. & if I had to choose ONLY one of the three as the BEST wax, then I would, definitely, choose 845.

FYI, I found 845 at Harbor Freight for $9. I cleaned my store out so to speak lol

On the wifes van in the beginning of winter I used 1 coat 845 1 coat 915. I also did work truck with 1 coat 845 1 coat 476. The van is doing just as good as work truck. I use OCW once a month the van sure shines still were the truck is protected but lost shine and gloss.
