What is the least expensive way to wash/rinse a black car with mineral free water? It would be relativly low volume since I am only taking care of my cars. Figure 2-3 cars per week.

Thanks,

The least expensive is the Mr Clean...um...I can`t even remember what it`s called...but it`s pretty crappy. If you have soft water in your house that`s a lot better than tap water if you can run a hose from inside (that`s what I have been doing until I can get my butt around to repiping my driveway faucet). There is the CRSpotless system available from a few places but it`s not cheap.

Yeah, it is pretty crappy but the filtered rinse works OK, but is a real slow spray and the filter cartridges aren`t cheap.

(http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-det...rspotless.html)I put one of those dual cartridge resin deals together and they work pretty well if you keep the water output low (~2 gpm). I use quick disconnects and just use it during the rinse of a car.
