I think this will be a landslide. :)

I`m growing very tired of the CCS pockets falling apart after about 2-3 hours of buffing......

I still love the flat for a precise finish.

Voted for flat. However the finishing pads are not that big of an issue for me.

Ryan, I was watching 007 when you called.

I`ll call you tomorrow.

Flat. I see no benefit at all from the CCS pads vs flat.

Yeah I`m gonna say flat. CCS pads seem to collapse in the center during use for me.

Flat for me. CCS pads have limitations in that you really shouldn`t use them with diminishing abrasives.

Flat pads can be used with all product types.

When I first started detailing, I guess I fell for the hype of the CCS pads. Now I`m back on the flat pad wagon. I still use my CCS pads because I have so many of them, but I prefer flat.

I really don`t like the CCS pads. They don`t work well with the rotary. They are too dense and lack the control I get from flat or better yet concave pads.

Flat. It seems to be harder to break the polish down with the CCS pads. The CCS pads keep throwing out new polish and when you think you are done, you still have non-broken down polish marring the surface a little.

Where are you finding this information? I`ve ordered directly from Menzerna USA and they sent me CCS pads? What limitations are there? I`ve never witnessed them.

On flat pads, I notice a little more splatter at times, but minimal at worst.

CCS pads last longer in terms of time polishing than my flats. I find that my flats get saturated very quickly when I polish and are sometimes harder to control :)

I`ve used only CCS pad`s this year and I never had issues with polishing they don`t seem to last all that long. Mind you I was using the low profile 6.5" ccs pads.

Where are you guys buying your flat pads nowadays?
