Hi,

This is my first thread. :spot

I have used Blackfire wet diamond sealant with polycharger 2 times.

Whenever I finished with BF wet diamond sealant with polycharger(new version),

my car(black color) looked a little dull and brownish or yellowish..

But there is no micromarring and swirlmark.

THe preparation for BF is as follows.

1. Washing with car shampoo.

2. the detailing clay with CG clay lube.

3. Meg #80 Speed glaze and Meg 8006 foam pad with DA

4. Menzerna fianl poilsh II and Meg 9006 foam pad with DA

5. BF Wet diamond sealant and LC finishing pad with DA

The result made me frustrated.

I read many other reviews about BF wet diamond sealant.

But their experience was great but me.

Is there anybody experienced the result as I did ?

Sounds like a pretty solid combo of products, not sure what went wrong

I own and have used Blackfire w/polycharger 3 times and have not seen this. Did you shake the bottle, I mean really shake the bottle?

are they streaks of yellowish or is the whole car yellowish? If its streaks then you might be applying too much or not letting it sit long enough

The whole car is a little brownish or gray..BTW it`s not real black.

I have never experienced it when using Menzerna FMJ, JetSeal 109, Zaino and so on.

I am not compaining about BF Wet diamont sealant...

Just want to know there is anyone experienced it like me.

Have you tried buffing off with a Qd like OID ?

Of course I already tried it.

It seems not a kind of residue.

Is it a GM? All Gm blacks look brown in the sun.

Try doing an IPA or Prep Sol wipe down after polishing. Perhaps the polishing oils and BF don`t mix well.

It`s possible that the Blackfire isn`t as optically clear as Zaino or JW. I`ve read similar claims with Ultima on solid black as well.
