Amazon.com: DuPont Bumper and Trim Black: Home Improvement (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00078AOBK?smid=A1WKAZ8C1YRHMA&tag=shopzilla_rev_1043-20&linkCode=asn) Already used it on one bumper, works great. A little more work taping and so on, but a TRUE restorer! Not a bad price either

There you go, a paint. Cool!

The only way for a permanant fix. More prep work but it will solve this issue for good. PS .. And no silicone oils:2thumbs:

SEM Trim Black works very well.

SEM Trim Black works very well.

Exactly what I used on my civics trim. Peeled it off, sanded it, primed it, and then painted it with Trim Paint.:2thumbs:

:goodjob

It`s good to see someone fix something the right way.

Silicone oils is probably what ruined it anyway.

I used bondo brand trim dye a few months ago on my window trim (rubber) and it looks terrible and streaky. Would a spray dye work on that?

Hmm, definitely will have to check this out myself. Thanks for the find!

Interesting..... Got looking around and found Dupli-Color also makes a "bumper coating"?

Bumper Paint (http://www.duplicolor.com/products/bumper.html)

Plus a "trim paint".....

Wonder if they work.........

I have tried the trim paint on my Mustang and it works well. It`s just like any other spray paint except the sheen and color is a close match to the factory trim.

I have several cans of the Honda Black SEM bumper paint that I have been meaning to use on the plastic cladding and urethane bumpers on my XR4Ti. I`ll try to post up a review when I get around to pulling all of the parts off.

I have used the SEM trim black paint before and I really like it. I prefer the look over the Duplicolor paint and the SEM paint lasted for many years. SEM makes quality paints and that`s why I chose their bumper paint for my XR4Ti.
