Like most amatures I tend to use too much product. I will be applying 2 coats of DWG tonight with a PC/5.5" blue pad. Can someone give me a good starting point as to how much to put on the pad for say half the hood (Lexus ES). I searched but could not find anything on how much.

No bigger than a pea sized dot as long as you have primed the pad with 4 pea sized dots when you start

I use a spot about the size of a medium lima bean!

Thanks, I finally (after much thought) went with half way between the corn kernal and the lima bean. lol



BTW, I started out using the amount recommended here, but when I found out how easy it was to remove, I increased the amount some as I found it easier to see that I was covering everything. I was VERY impressed with how easy it was to use.
