This car was covered in touch car wash swirls. Luckily Honda paint is somewhat soft!

There was a long deep scratch from someone who keyed it, and as you will see it was somewhat hidden after wetsanding with 2000/3000.

Process:

SIP/OP with Orange CCS

PO106FF with Green CCS

Collinite 845IW by hand

Great work! I agree with the paint being soft, on my FIT I was able to take out most defects with a PC

Thanks a lot Paul for the information.

So, you use this as a pre-soak to make sure every area of the paint is "lubrificated".

I`m starting to write a list of products/accessories/etc that i need to build a "good detailing kit".

I`ll add this item for sure.

I`m not ready to start buying now, but when i`ll be ready, i`ll make a thread to ask questions and opinions on different product.

Thanks again.

=)

the great thing about the foam gun (unlike the foam cannon/lance) is you can use it to both pre-soak AND wash the car. as i`ve said numerous times, i don`t regret purchasing the foam gun one bit and is worth every penny IMO. it will definitely come in handy in the winter with all the mud, grime, etc..

I use it generally on dirty cars to loosen off dirt. Others use the foam gun to provide lubrication for washing.

I Foam>Rinse>Wash>Rinse>Clay>Rinse

If I get a lot of compounding dust after I`ll foam because it get`s in the cracks and loosens it out.

Must have IMO
