Heres some pics of my truck today after washin` it all up yesterday evening. Also, notice the new door on drivers side with no rust as well as the FULL debadging of the truck done while getting the door replaced at the body shop! I think it came out really well, now i just gotta tint the front windows, level it and throw some 35s wrapped around 17s on it.

Love the truck, looks awesome.

FWIW, those rims look better than any rims on the market for those trucks today.

thanks man, that was just a wash with megs GC shampoo, westlys bleche white on the tires and some nice soft towels to dry it off with.....however even the soft towel left some marring/swirls or what have you on the door that was just painted :(

So just bleach white on the tires, no dressing? I like the fact that some tires look good with no dressing, i`m getting tired of that slick greasy ish.

nope bud, no dressing at all, just westlys bleche white and hose off.....didnt even dry them, they come out very black on the sidewall and very white on the lettering

I only use dressing for my 83 C10 which is a show/drag rig

Good move debadging, super clean!

Could the swirls have come from the shop, seeing as how they had to polish the debadged areas and probably did one of those "quick" passes all over?

What are you using for wax/sealant?

no the marks definitely came from me drying it off....they weren`t there before, the body shop actually didn`t even induce any swirling (that`s amazing huh) Luckily i was being very careful and the "marks" i made are VERY light and would probably come out with just a mist of quick detailer with a MF towel.

I was told to not apply any kind of wax or sealant or anything until after 60 days to let the paint/clear cure.

However, the wax i use is Megs NXT, not the 2.0 the NXT before it.

Very clean Cummins! I personally would get rid of all the stickers on the back though. And leave the wheels/tires combo, look very good! Those wheels are wicked, I love `em more sometimes than mine even though I don`t think 16s would clear on my 04.5 Cummins...
