hi all,

im a newbie with rotary and i plan to purchase one in the coming future. ive never used one before and im aware of the dangers that comes with a rotary. i know that the rotary is more powerful than a PC and that it gets rid of swirl marks and scratches faster, but on the other hand, if im not careful the rotary can damage the paint of my car.

if i do purchase one i will most likely purchase the makita 9227 rotary. my friend has a PC and ive used it before and i gotta say that its a really good machine. its take more time though to get rid of the swirls and scratches.

i have everything i need except a polishing machine and some pads. as i think of it, ill skip the PC and go all out and purchase the rotary. ill take the risk and in addition, i will never learn to be good in using the rotary if i dont use it. if you guys know some good tutorial links, please shed some light and provide me the links so i can do some reading. thanks for any inputs!!!

This is the Megs video, the image quality isn`t the best but it gives you a very good idea of how to use a rotary. There isn`t any way to really know how to do it other than to actually do it but this is a great start.
