I`m looking for a sealant to use that I can possibly top with a carnauba. I have been using Klasse AIO, and while it looks OK, I find it difficult to use in the heat down here in Texas. #21 was suggested to me, but I am not sure how it is different from #20 (I havent used either of these, but am going off the descriptions from the Meguiars web site). What are the differences between the two?

I will be topping this with a carnauba, either #26, P21S, or Carnauba Moose.

Car is a black 2004 VW Passat.

Correct me if I`m wrong, but I believe #20 has cleaners in it, and #21 does not. I`d go with #21.

M20 does have more cleaners in it chemical wise also having a bit of abrasive its a light cleaner wa/sealant.

M 21 is close to NXT except better 21 has less cleaners in it than 20.

Try putting down a coat of 20 then 21

but first just try 21 straight up will last 3-4 months.

Just wondering why the cleaners wouldnt be desirable?

Would either of these remove Klasse AIO or would I have to remove the AIO first?

This depends on what you are doing. If you want a KAIO replecement than #20 would be the better choice. It cleans and protects and then top with the carnauba of choice. #21 is more of a pure sealant.

Gotcha. Is there much of a difference visually?

From what I`ve read 20 is a bit brighter.
