I received my 3.5`` backing plate and attempted to install it on the PC 7424.
First of all, the backing plate came with a black nipple on the end. I took it off and screwed it onto the bolt on the PC. Now, the spacing that was on the backing plate is still on (its a plastic washer), and there seems to be equal spacing between that and the 5`` counterweight that came with the PC.
Naturally, I tightened the bolt that attached the backing plate to the PC because it seems that if I did it by hand, the rotor would just spin without tightening the backing plate to the actual machine. (And subsequently fly off)
Did I install everything correctly? Theres still the washer that I didn`t use that came with the PC.
It`s loud as HELL, even on the speed of 1, and on speed 6, it sounds like a freaking jet taking off.
