Id like to start using a touchless drying system.... particularly on black cars. It looks like DI water is the way to go on this. The fancy systems like CR Spotless are pretty expensive. At the other end is Mr Clean AutoDry. Perhaps some sort of DIY system. I did read this thread:

*Cheap* replacement for CRSpotless - Autopia.org (http://tinyurl.com/5jtq4j)

Any suggestions on a good touchless system would be appreciated.

I put together one of SuperBees el-cheapo CRS filters shown in your link and it seems to work pretty good. I`ve only used it a couple of times so far and it seems to work if you keep the water pressure down a bit.

I think it would be cheaper in the long run to use something like the Air Wand to do most of your drying with:

The New Air Wand (http://airwand.com/)

I know Accumulator uses one and I keep thinking about buying one but just keeep putting it off.

I bet if you touch base with SuperBee on this topic he`ll let you know the latests on this idea. The thread has some great info!!!

Thanks for the ideas. I`m thinking that just sheeting water off with a hose, then blowing off the remainder with my

Metro air blaster might get the job done. Followed by FK425 to eliminate any potential spotting.
