I went to an appointment yesterday. On my way out, I walked past a Bentley parked in front of a law office. I had been looking for an example of outstanding factory paint work, and this was it. It looked like a lot of hand sanding had been done in the painting process. The paint was beautifully smooth, without the texture most robot-applied factory processes leave. I`ve never seen smoother looking factory paint. At an angle, the body panels appeared to be made of mirrored glass. Does anyone know if there really is hand craftmanship in the Bentley paint process? In contrast, the beautiful Lambo Gallardo and Ferrari 575 I saw last Saturday showed some texture in the factory paint. This Bentley was in beautiful shape; it`s got to be a recent model, but I couldn`t tell how old it was.
