1998 GTP rims

My cousin has these rims on his GTP (not his car below):

Does anyone know what type of material these are, and if they have a clear coat on them?



I tried a bit of a fine metal polish and it didn`t turn black IIRC so I don`t think they are uncoated aluminum. I am guessing they are an aluminum that has been cleared from the factory?

They are clear coated aluminum. Treat them like you would your car`s surface.



If you want to highly polish the aluminum, you would have to strip the clear coat.
