Sunburned needed to be spruced up in order to sell. If you haven`t seen his car, it`s a GT with IRS and a Vortech. It`s very nicely done!

Nice job! Is it just me, or do the front wheels have bad camber issues?

He probably does autocross, hence the IRS suspension.

Doubtful. Most of us Stang guys will opt for the IRS as its easier for traction at the track. And since it is supercharged my guess is it sees the track a lot! Also the IRS will accompany for a lot better/softer ride than the solid axle on the rear for everyday.

Then why are Cobra guys are often trading for solid rears? You get significant amounts of wheel hop with the IRS. Not to mention the camber and drop on that car. No good for drag racing.
IRS- good for daily driving and autocross, not so good for drag racing
Here are some pictures of my car. ;)

Thanks all!
The car is set up to run autocross and open track events. I`ve seen it at the drag strip.
The IRS, if built up correctly, can be a great drag set-up, but it`s cheaper to do a solid rear swap.

great job on the detail buddy, haven`t seen you on MF lately
solid rear = stronger and more traction for drag racing
IRS = autox and street comfort
i hate to whore up other`s threads with my pictures, but since everyone is doing it, lol:

My own Cobra with black rims, last of the stick axle ones. Which as mentioned above, is better for drag use. A solid axle car can be acompetent autoXer too, though. My car sees more time autoXing than drag racing.
