Hi there

One more detail but this one its a special one, not only for the challenge involved but for showing how the

oficial dealerships works and treat their customers :(

Its a Mercedes SLK 230 from 1999, the car was repainted at Mercedes , and came with holograms, swirls and some

minor scratches, and this for a new paint job.
When they delivered the car to the owner, told that new paints must be seen at dark light...i think because in

sunlight looked like this :)

Well the owner returned to the dealership and refused this job, they agree to polish some more...the end

result was BAD..REALLY BAD, after 3 months he meet detail :)

take a look for the before

Beautiful job, it`s amazing that a dealership would try to give something looking like that o a customer.
Good for the customer that he refused the car, maybe that dealership will now realize that a customer won`t just accept what is given to them

WOW!! Looks great!

One thing about the dealership detailers, they were thorough! Every panel got equal treatment!

I had my car and truck worked on this past February after our carport collapsed on them from the snowstorm in December. The body shop did the same thing to our vehicles with the addition of deep embedded scratches below the clearcoat. To repair would require the paint be removed and then repainted. What a sad thing when so-called professionals are simply not.

I have to say WOW to what you`ve done to repair the damage. I`m certain the owner was thrilled with your work and the results!

My question is this... Did the owner take the car back to the dealership after you finsihed with it and show them what a professional does? I surely hope so. I`d really love to know if they did this or not. And if they did, what excuse was given by the dealership. If I was that owner, I surely would have done this.

You did a fantastic job on that car. What an improvement!

Beautiful work on the SLK 230! It is shameful that a dealership would let such work be tolerated. You did a fantastic job as usual, it`s a pleasure to see what a skilled detailer can do to correct such horrible work.

Great photos too by the way! Many thanks for sharing with us.

Great job. I had my door repainted at a dealer after it got scratched on their lot. Same thing. They said, "Do you want us to fix it?". I just took it home and did it myself.

Once again, great job.

Well last news , the owner told me just few minutes ago that he went to the dealership and showed the car.

All of them were amazed by the results and didnt believed it was detailed ( or even knew that :lol ), so they offer a FULL free of charge repaint with close supervision.
The owner asked my opinion about that, and i told him to forget and enjoy the car because its great now, and if he accept the repaint offer holograms and swirls gonaa comeback for sure :wall
