I`ve been reading all the rave reviews about Opti-Seal and would like to try it. I am a Zaino fan and use both Z2 and Z5, but have not been overwhelmed with ZCS. Can you top Zaino with Opti-Seal directly?

I have been using ONR and Z2, with a Z6 wipe down in between, and found no ill- effect. I wonder if Opti-Seal is the same in terms of compatibility.

Sure Optiseal would bond over Zaino. I`m not sure there is really any look to be gained since OS is clear like CS.

Opti-Seal definitely has a wetter look than the version of ZCS I have and it does work well over Z5 Pro. Looks really good too. :)

Great! I"ll be trying it out as soon as my order comes in. Thanks for the feedback.

Btw, can I apply Z2 over Opti-Seal later, let`s say a couple of weeks later when I use ONR and layer on more Z2?

I would think you can alternate layers as you wish.

After a wash applying Z2pro would be fine as long as you use ZFX.

...if you want quicker setting/curing. But if you have time, Z2Pro will work great alone.

I`ve done it, it added the distinctive "Opti-Sealed" look to the paint, and *seemed* to enhance the beading a little (although my beading/durability results with Zaino have been a bit mixed in my limited usage). I don`t know if I`d add Z2PRO back over it after a wash, I might be concerned with bonding. It`s worth a shot, though.

Sometimes Z2pro can be finicky about bonding. Using ZFX is best.
