What`s up all? So I detailed a black 4Runner this weekend. I have to admit I was worried after working on that Lexus last summer and encountering that ridiculously hard clearcoat. Long story short, the Toyota was every bit as bad. Seriously, this might be the last Toyota/Lexus that I work on!! :banghead: :banghead:

So I bought some new products for the task. Got some Meg`s #105 and a yellow LC CCS pad for the PC. Whoever said the 105 doesn`t dust is CRAZY! I was pissed at how much it dusted. That was a pain! Needless to say, I`m switching to Optimum Hyper Compound in the future! Anyone want to buy the 105?? ;)

Car had scratches down the entire length of it, on BOTH sides. Had some swirling, but nothing terrible. I was worried about the water & sap marks on the hood though, which was well warranted as it turns out. They were deep and I didn`t manage to get them all out, but they were vastly improved in the end.

Unfortunately my camera died on me during my after pics, but not before I managed to get some pics that will show you the differences. Just no shots of the clean interior.

Comments welcome!

Nice job, especially on that drivers side. What machine did you use?
