My E34`s door brake COMPLETELY ripped out the metal in the door. Like, ruined it.

Today I bought a junkyard door from an identical car, with a great-looking doorbrake area.

Doorbrake area:

Scratches:

Pinstripe under clear (possibly painted on):

Problems with my current door:

Ruined door brake area.

Scratches from a crowbar when thieves broke in.

Chrome trim was hammered in from the back..you can slightly see it in the trim.

Glass in the bottom of the door (could take panel off and clean it if need be)

Screw in tweeter is stuck, needs to be extracted somehow. Can`t get door panel off until fixed.

Problems with junkyard door:

Two spots of surface rust

Scraches in middle of door (same severity as current door)

Tinted window (need to swap windows or have it removed)

Pinstripe under clearcoat...can this be removed?

The scratches, rust, and pinstripe must be removed. How much does that cost? I can remove the tint.

I guess if the repairs on the JY door come out to less than $200 plus installation it will be worth it.

Went to another junkyard close to Bloomington. This place is massive...I cannot believe how many cars they had there. They must have had 20 E34s alone!

`94 540i trunklid. No dents, just a few tiny spots of surface rust on the sides.
