These are teaser pics only. I just washed the car for now to get the transport muck off. Detailing will come later.

A client of mine has given me the pleasure of building his Porsche GT2 out for him so the first choice of color was easy.........it had to be Speed Yellow! He wanted black but he already has a Turbo in black so what`s the point? Besides....you can`t have a GT2 in such a curve hindering color as black.

Got him the black wheels and also full red tail lights and a painted emblem....which is just a great option to have as it sets the car apart, as if it isn`t already....

On the interior I went with the sport seats w/alcantara instead of the carbon fiber splits because of comfort. Yeah the splits are uber sexy and all but I was told the sport seats are more comfy and this guy drives his cars. They are not garage queens. Added the yellow stitching, a few touches of carbon fiber, yellow belts and the fire extinguisher.

Dials........I was hoping they could be done in a white face but didn`t seem that was an option.

Door panels.....follow the yellow stitching, w/alcantara and door handles in black, nice touch if I must say so :)

Lighted "GT2" door jams........oh man I love that!

Gotta love the tail.....

It was a great pleasure spending someone else`s money so I sure hope he likes his little baby! He won`t see it for another 2 weeks as he is out of the country.....maybe he won`t mind me making sure the tires stay warm...hate for the battery to drain also, know what I mean:grinno:

I have another client asking me to spec out his new 09 S so I`m looking forward to that also.

Lovely car, not so lovely wheels. Looking forward to the c&b, though. :)

Are people that rich these days that they don`t even pick out their own cars?

Awesome car. Not a fan of alcanatra but I have spent many an hour designing Porsches on their site and your client definetely clicked some big ticket items. His car and the car I dream of when I design are amazingly similar.

They are awesome cars to look at and work on and scary cars to drive. Cannot wait fo the detail!

Hey thanks folks :)

Yes it`s great fun spending other folks money and yes this Porsche is scary fast:shocked Truthfully I`m not sure I would want something like this as I would be worried I would wrap it around a pole in short time!

I believe the final cost of this baby was around $219k.

I`ll be giving it a full going over within the next 2 weeks. I noticed some buffer swirls in the finish but because of the color they appear as very fine ones. Hardly noticeable to the average viewer.

The most time consuming thing is chasing and removing the adhesive lines from the transport tape and covering.

Maybe when I can no longer detail I`ll just consult people on their high end car purchases.....Hmmm, the gears are already turning:D

Glad you all like the Porsche and I`ll be sure to get the pictures up of the full detail as soon as I am able to get the car to his house. Porsche was going to pay for me to detail it but I declined because the cars owner pays much better than Porsche dealers;)

Beautiful car I was at my local Porsche/High End dealer the other day and I got to go in the garage in the back and check out the red 2008 GT2 they just got in.
