Hi guys, here are some details I did this past weeks. I am not a pro by any means, but I wanted to share. Cars aren’t the expensive ones we always see here either. All car but the first one were cleaned in the inside, but I have to pic of that.

I’ll beging by the last I did. It is a 2005 Pontiac Pursuit very base model with 59000 km that belongs to my aunt. Last proper wash was during summer 2006 when I detailed it. But it was power washed a few times since then.

Process : wash with NXT soap, APC 7 :1 on caps, tires and wheel wells, clay (took about an hour alone), Megs #83 on some bigger scratch, #80, NXT wax, final wipe with Utimate Quick Detailer, NXT Insane Shine on the tire and Meg’s ASD for the wheels wells.

Total time : 3,5 hours, I only did the exterior per request of my aunt. Though the interior was screaming to be cleaned!

Next one is a 2006 Pontiac Torrent I did yesterday. This truck only has 12500 km on the clock and has never seen winter. It was fearly clean to begin with. Never been wax since new and the interior was never cleaned either.

Process : wash with NXT soap, APC 10 : 1 on rims, tires ans wheel wells.

Since it has been almost never hand washed, there was no swirls at all so I went straight to the LSP. I put 2 coats of Meg’s Syntetic Sealant 2.0.

Hot shine tires gel on the tires and ASD for wheel wells.

It has a Vibrant double exhaust.

Next one, a 2006 Toyota Yaris, same owner as the Torrent, wife car. That little thing has a Borla exhaust.

Same process at the Pursuit.

No befores, I forgot.

Now, a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS sedan with about 50000 km.

Did interior and exterior wash only. It is missing front rims before it got broken hitting a pothole. It is now fixed.

No before, but it was dirty. I will see this car again for a full detail later this summer.

Same process as the red Pursuit.

Last one, a 2001 Ford Windstar SE that belongs to my best friend’s mother.

Almost same process at the Pursuit also, but no tires dressing as she lives on a dirt road.

Befores :

Car wash pretty clean as she powerwashed it prior to bring it to me. She said it was so dirty she was ashamed.

What was your combo for paint correction?

Well, I don`t do what we could call paint correction, but I do what I can with the skills I have.

I have a PC, #83, #80 and Meguiar`s pads.

I try to do the best I can with what I have available.

Anyway, here my customers don`t really care about paint correction, as long as it looks good to their eyes it is okay for them. This is sad, but well...

Thanks for the comments !
