Greetings: Please offer advice on the following issue. I have a Ford Windstar with these tiny dots all over the surface of the vehicle and windows. The surface is quite rough to the feel, especially on the rear door and window. I am quessing that someone was spraying polyurethane which the wind blew to the street where we drove through the cloud. It maybe some other substance?

The car has been washed by hand with hot water, and the window was cleaned with rubbing alcohol. Those attempts did very little. One can scrape off the bumps with a finger nail with much effort. The last attempt was Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Clay Bar. That took the sharpness off of the tops of the dots. After reading the forums it appears that a true clay bar might help? I am contemplating the purchase of a Porter Cable 7424, but don`t want to cause more damage.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Real clay will help, turtle wax liquid ice clay is an absolutely useless product. Regular paint cleaners are more effective.
