Here are some pics of my baby. I live about 500ft from the Gulf of Mexico so it is a never ending battle against mother nature.

I got my best shine so far with clay bar, 3M scratch remover/polish, lots of elbow grease and then slop Turtle wax ICE all over everything. Lots of Mothers chrome polish and Stoner glass cleaner. Then ice for the drink, some for my arm sit back and enjoy the view.

WOW!

You guys are a tough crowd. 3 days and 48 views and not a single comment. Not even a "looks like crap" or "Tell me you don`t really use Turtle Wax ICE on that!"

I think that this is about as good as you can get that nasty NISSAN paint to look without power tools.

I guess I have my work cut out for me if I am going to get a WOW out of this bunch.

I can`t believe you used TW Ice!

But really, looks great. Engine cover is nice too.

Nice work on that truck - I especially like the photo with the RC truck in front of the full size one! (or is it the other way around? ;) )

Looks good for OTC dude!

Are you thinking of picking up other stuff to try out? I hope so, you`re missing out on the fun if ya don`t!

The, uh, third picture is "wow". Is the valve cover painted like that stock for the Texas editions? If so, that`s pretty awesome. If not, that`s pretty awesome. IMHO, that truck has way too much bling. But it sure is shiny.

Paint looks GREAT, truck has too many "add ons" for my taste ie all the chrome strips out lining everything on the truck... (since your requesting comments)

Looks good to me!

Love the air horns under the hood! I need those in my Corvette :chuckle:

Looks nice and clean, the engine bay is pretty cool, but I`m not diggin all the chrome bling everywhere..... to each his own.

Nice job, what exactly did you do besides wash it?

Nice shine but I think the Truck stands out for all the wrong reasons. All the chrome starts to make it look like a Kragens (or auto zone, pepboys, etc) special. The chrome door edge bumpers totally inturupt the front to rear flow of the vehicle. Along with the chrome around the wheel wells they make the truck look older then it is. I`ve never been a fan of adding every piece of stick on accessory to a vehicle that is available. Subtle changes make the best look in my book.

With that said the engine bay does look Awsome. :bigups Just my 2 cents.

Is this a popular/common look in the area where you are at?

Nice job.. But like the other said. Cant beleive that happened with Turtle wax. All the turtle products I have used have been crap....

Nice truck! But too much chrome and stick-ons. Take `em off and the truck will look much "cleaner".

I have to agree that there`s just too many chrome blingy add-ons put on the truck. If you like it, that`s all that matters. Paint does look good..and do try some other stuff than turtle wax..you`ll be pleasantly surprised with the result.

+1 with everyone else. Way to much chrome, but if you like it that is all that matters. We dont have to drive it, you do lol.

I do admire the work done to the truck and the time invested in modding it to your taste.

Where did you get your airhorns?

Looks good for Turtle Wax (hard to believe).

Definitely too "aftermarket", kinda cheapens it up a little.

Still puzzled over the whole "Texas" pride on a Japanese-made Nissan :tumblewee
