Do you people think it would be worth it to sell my IP/FPII and upgrade?
Will SIP/106FA really yield better results?

SIP is good but it`s advantage is on ceramic clear. Use up your IP before investing in SIP.

I personally would keep FPII. Its easier to work with since its not finicky when it comes to temp and humidity and also leaves a good finish.

No doubt its a good polish, but it cannot clean up marring left by SIP/PFW

What are you using it with, PC or rotary?

So you already have SIP?

Maybe you should try using a foam pad with IP after the PFW so you`ll end up with less marring. Otherwise I guess you should get something stronger than FPII. I honestly don`t know about the difference in cut between FPII and 106FF but I would assume 106 has more being its made ceramic clears. Someone else need to chime in here.

FPII has no cut compared to 106. The two cannot be compared really. I would keep FPII to clean up after 106.
IP and SIP are two different animals, they cannot be compared and are used for diffent effect and purposes.
I would keep IP and FPII, and pick up some 106 and SIP to have when you come across harder paints that IP won`t correct.

Well I heard SIP/106FA finish down so nicely, there really is no point for FPII

I`m not a SIP expert but I`d reach for 3m 3000 RC if I needed something stronger than IP. Finishes down nicely with 4 inch pads and cheaper too.

Final polish II is a finishing polish and yes you can notice a difference. Again 106 nor is SIP good enough to finish down for a high quality finish. You can get close but that is it.
