As the title states it, I finally used my new purchase. The supposed all in one miracle cream. I must say, this thing is really really cool. I was actually not expecting it to perform this well. It is a very easy formula to work with, has a nice consistency, smell, and does not dust or sling.

The correction for this was a one pass polish over the entire car on a LCC white pad via Makita 9227c working it for quite a few passes to where there was barely any residue left.

I worked it ranging from 600-900-1200-1500-1200-900 each with a few passes.

These are the results I got on a 1999 Cosmos Schwarz E36 M3.

This is the post I have been looking for. Great job on the Beemer.

I just received my D151 today and I am anxious to give it a whirl.

Looks great on black!

Happy to hear that it`s easy to work with.

How much time did you spend on paint correction with this?

Haha oops! I forgot the most important part of the post. The entire car meaning the results you see are after only 1 pass. So if I had gone with a more aggresive pad, or made more passes with my current pad combo I would have even better results!

Great job I might have to look into D151, on a side note I love the look of the E36 M3 thats the car I wanted but I couldn`t find one in my price range with the correct mileage.

Really nice results. Any problems getting a hologram free finish?

I didnt experience any issues with holograms because I made so many passes varying in speeds to make sure I wouldnt get any. I am sure if you cut via yellow or orange etc, it wont be perfect, unless you follow up at slower speeds with it.

Keep in mind that this product fills like crazy. You can finish it with a wool and have "light` to no hologramming. I would be very interested in seeing the condition of the paint after the oils go away and you are left with pad abrasion from white pad. I would imagine that you will have some nice holograms.

This product, as Mike Phillips told me, is designed for volume detail shops. Most autopians tend to stay away from products designed to fill though in some markets it can be a good idea.

Joe (Superior Shine) had a good post showing how much (considerable) defect return after about 3 weeks so please keep up updated.

I`ve had no luck finding the post you`re speaking of. Do you have the link?

This is quite interesting as I was under the assumption that #151 has no fillers, as reported here: (*New* Meguiar`s D151 Paint Reconditioning Cream Review!!! - Car Care Forums: Meguiar`s Online (http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23614))

"I then did an isopropyl alcohol wipe down just to see if anything remained. The swirls were completely removed"

Either way, i`d like to hear what the consensus is on this product.

TIA

Well fillers or no fillers, the reason I have D151 is to help me save some time, and effort on those jobs where the person does not want to spend a lot of money. This way, I dont waste my time picking and choosing a product, now I have a go to product for that 1 step polish detail. I am working on an 02` A4 silver using D151 again, with again the same results as the M3. I like the product, for what it is.
