My wifes car had a spot of pine tree sap on the hood of her car, which has a dark vinyl decal on the center (Dodge Charger Daytona R/T), I used alcohol, it removed the sap, but it left a mark where the alcohol was wiped. Any suggestions.:hairpull

I have had good luck using a little Poli-Seal with a microfiber cloth by hand to takeout light scratches and bird-bomb etchings from black vinyl.

I second the PoliSeal.

Its surprised me on several occasions.

Poli-Seal pretty much made it worse, looks like I may have to replace the vinyl.

why don`t you have it painted after you have the vinyl removed.
