3M Adhesive Surface Activator

I`ve been putting up some original factory add-ons to my car and for most of them, they were supplied with a packet of 3M Adhesive Activator to apply to the surface before the 3M tape. Well, when I got to the last piece, consequently being the largest, there wasn`t a packet supplied, So I assumed I don`t need it since they don`t mention it.



Well guess what, it`s the only piece not sticking well. It`s holding, but I`m not happy with it. The area was treated the same as the rest, washed, dried, and then cleaned again with the 3M Wax & Adhesive Remover.



Is there anywhere local I can pick up the adhesive activator, or is there anything else to replace it? I`ll have to get some new 3M tape as well, sigh.

3m trim glue not sure if the #. Treat it like contact cement. Put a thin layer on both pieces and let dry which will be very fast if thin and then use the 2 sided tape again and press hard as the tape is pressure sensitive.
