I`ve had a PC7424 for a while now but I think it`s time that I ask a really obvious question....

How much should they vibrate?

When I use mine it`s pretty vigourous. After 30 mins of polishing my hands are fairly numb.

I get good results, so I believe I`m using it right. I also get the same level of vibration regardless of the backing plate and pad. (I have the one supplied by Autopia with the unit and another one)

I`ve always wondered whether mine has a fault which is making it vibrate so much so I`d be really pleased to here that it`s perfectly normal.

it`s normal. when you use it at lower speeds it will vibrate more and when you bump it up, it will be less noticable. you`ll get use to it...

Yes, it`s one of the cons of using the PC.

Thanks guys. I figured that would be the case but I had to ask. ;)

Just date a massage therapist like I do...that way after your hands and forearms are killing you, she can just work the kinks out. Works like a charm!!! :xyxthumbs

How much is it vibrating? I`d heard there was some small cardboard washer that needed to be installed when setting it up that made a big difference in vibration?

I have a Griot`s RO and a Flex, so apologies if the nOOb PC info...

Find a bolt that fits the handle part of the PC. I got a set from Richard (OctaneGuy) last time I went to his shop. It helps a lot :)
