Most Important Specs for Shop-Vac Shopping

Hey, guys.



Well, I was cleaning out a car last night and my Shop-Vac decided to start smoking like crazy and then shut down. I`ve contacted Shop-Vac about it (It`s less than two years old) but I don`t have my receipt. Just in case Shop-Vac doesn`t help me out, i want to know exactly what to look for if I have to buy a new one. The model that just died was a 16 gallon/5.5hp model. If I have to buy a new model, I want to get the best bang for the buck...I`m thinking about this model:

the 12 gallon shop-vac is $39 though at Lowes. It`s one of our fathers day specials. Comes with the blower and all. I got the same one on black friday when we had the same deal. I was able to snag one of the last 2 when I punched out, lol!
