Hey everyone!

I`m slowly starting to get into the detailing business with many years of cleaning with mainly elbow grease and now starting to purchase items that will ease the labor intensity. My first real investment in this wonderful world of detailing happened a few days ago. I bought the Mytee Lite II from Detail Supply Outlet (Auto Detailing Equipment - Car Detailing Equipment - Auto Detailing Supplies - Auto Detailing Products (http://www.detailsupplyoutlet.com/)) here in San Diego. For me, it was a pretty big purchase as I can`t easily come up with $600 plus for ANYTHING! The painful memories of trying to clean really dirty interiors with nothing but a bucket, some upholstery spray and a scrub brush justified my purchase. Anyway, I tried it out on my 97 Honda Civic`s front pass seat real quick and overall I was really happy. I`m only using the solution that the lady at the shop gave me so any helpful hints on what other solutions will give me the best results will be helpful. Also, does anyone know if Mytee sells the same upholstery tool but with a clear front so I can see when the dirtiness stops coming up?

Thanks in advance for any helpful tips and I am looking forward to learning much information on this site. Oh, I posted a couple before and after pics but it was with my Blackberry so not sure if it will show much of an improvement.

This is really a bad before and after. I think the drivers side is a lot dirtier so I`ll try that next.

Here are a couple from the Drivers side floor. I`m going to go over it again with some carpet cleaner and a scrub brush on the really stained areas and then extract one last time. Most of it is under the seats so it`s not that bad.

Overall I am really pleased with this machine and I`ll have to get some good solutions and sprays to see better results. I wish I took some pics of the water that was extracted. It was about 6 gallons of black muck.

Thanks! I`ll check those out!

Here are the rest of the shots. I didn`t spend as much time as I wanted to on this car. It was mine, then went to my ex and she trashed it. I got it back and just wanted to clean it up to sell it. I"m sure with more practice and experience, my results should be better.

I still have to dress the dash and plastic, do the windows, vents and the smaller details. Then it`s time to tackle the exterior!

I`m new at this so any tips, comments, suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Looks great so far. You need to set up some fans and always try to dry an interior as fast as you can.

ktorrres,

Please give us a little warning when you post the close up shots! :aww:

I almost lost my lunch when I saw the drainage from the extractor! :nomore::nomore:

If you aren`t using a system maintainer, and the machine won`t build up pressure (pump motor just runs constant and it won`t spray), put a little white vinegar/water 25/75 mix in and run the pump, it`ll pressurize in no time.

Something I had a problem with that had me throwing a fit until this was recommended, and it works great.

Thanks for this tip! It may come in handy in the future!
